The Seasons: A Poem

Sunrise over Amazing Grasses Family Farm The mad Artist wields His brush, Painted colors rush, To life and give flush, Before the quiet autumn hush. The life seems to pour, As colors fall to the floor, To be seen no more, Outside the dark, grey door. Brightness from below, Sun upon the snow, High, cold clouds blow, Flakes and ice appear to grow. The man melts with little seen, Underneath, pale, grey green, Hides life in dark unseen, Waits for warmth and to careen. Buds on branches show, Patience starts to grow, Trickles, streams and veins flow, Bringing fruits of melted snow. Sprung to life it springs, Bees, birds, sound rings, Lush green flings, Its gift bounty brings. Green growth gives one last rush, Underneath the Painter's brush. The mad Artist wields His brush, before the quiet autumn hush. More poetry is available from James M. Hahn in  The Last Dragon and Other Poems  available now. Lazy Lego Saturday

You know it's going to be a good day when it starts with two sticks of butter, a cup of sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla!  An awesome recipe from the Pioneer Woman.

Mix together....

...spread on the bread with a smile....

...bake for 10 minutes, then broil til golden brown.

The morning was nearly ruined by this bowl of fruit that Nicole made!

Time to get out the new Lego Police Station. 783 pieces on the table, on the floor, in the mouths of the babies and so on.

The first stage of the building...

...add another garage and a K9 unit, notice the dog behind the door...

...cells on top for those hardened Lego criminals...

...half way done, now time for the offices...

...complete.  We also had some other kits with police and rescue themes including the helicopter on top.

Just another day in Lego town.

The master builders.

No, as long as you make a bowl of fruit to go with it. You don't have to eat the fruit, just make it.
