The Seasons: A Poem

Sunrise over Amazing Grasses Family Farm The mad Artist wields His brush, Painted colors rush, To life and give flush, Before the quiet autumn hush. The life seems to pour, As colors fall to the floor, To be seen no more, Outside the dark, grey door. Brightness from below, Sun upon the snow, High, cold clouds blow, Flakes and ice appear to grow. The man melts with little seen, Underneath, pale, grey green, Hides life in dark unseen, Waits for warmth and to careen. Buds on branches show, Patience starts to grow, Trickles, streams and veins flow, Bringing fruits of melted snow. Sprung to life it springs, Bees, birds, sound rings, Lush green flings, Its gift bounty brings. Green growth gives one last rush, Underneath the Painter's brush. The mad Artist wields His brush, before the quiet autumn hush. More poetry is available from James M. Hahn in  The Last Dragon and Other Poems  available now. What a job!!

I took my wife out on a date Friday. It was a birthday present. My parents watched the kids and we ran off to the Palace Theater in Columbus to see Mr. Brian Regan. Regan is, in my opinion, the best comedian I have ever seen. He is extremely talented but the best part is that his performance is clean. It is obvious that he wants his show to be that way. I wouldn't be afraid to take young teens to see him. In fact there were many families present for the act.

Usually most people think of clean comedy as boring comedy but his is certainly not the case. Regan has a unique ability to take common life happenings and magnify them showing us how funny they really are.
What a job though, really, making people laugh for a living. I mean, I make people laugh but it's usually for the wrong reason... Anyway, check out his site and if you have a few extra bucks get his DVD you WILL NOT be disappointed.
