The Seasons: A Poem

Sunrise over Amazing Grasses Family Farm The mad Artist wields His brush, Painted colors rush, To life and give flush, Before the quiet autumn hush. The life seems to pour, As colors fall to the floor, To be seen no more, Outside the dark, grey door. Brightness from below, Sun upon the snow, High, cold clouds blow, Flakes and ice appear to grow. The man melts with little seen, Underneath, pale, grey green, Hides life in dark unseen, Waits for warmth and to careen. Buds on branches show, Patience starts to grow, Trickles, streams and veins flow, Bringing fruits of melted snow. Sprung to life it springs, Bees, birds, sound rings, Lush green flings, Its gift bounty brings. Green growth gives one last rush, Underneath the Painter's brush. The mad Artist wields His brush, before the quiet autumn hush. More poetry is available from James M. Hahn in  The Last Dragon and Other Poems  available now. Book Meme

Tagged again! Steven tagged me with this one. It was difficult for me to decide because I do love the books. Here goes.

1. Name up to three books you think everyone should read.
a) The Bible - "Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ." - Saint Jerome
b) The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis
c) An Essay on the Restoration of Property by Hilare Belloc

2. Name up to three authors you think everyone should read.
a) Louis de Wohl
b) J.R.R. Tolkien
c) G.K. Chesterton

3. Name up to three books no one should read. (This is tough because I really try to avoid bad books. Life is too short and my time too precious to waste on a book reported to be bad.) Anyway, I don't know if these should not be read by anyone but they are books I did NOT like in at all.
a) 1984 by George Orwell
b) A Danger to the State by Philip Trower
