The Seasons: A Poem

Sunrise over Amazing Grasses Family Farm The mad Artist wields His brush, Painted colors rush, To life and give flush, Before the quiet autumn hush. The life seems to pour, As colors fall to the floor, To be seen no more, Outside the dark, grey door. Brightness from below, Sun upon the snow, High, cold clouds blow, Flakes and ice appear to grow. The man melts with little seen, Underneath, pale, grey green, Hides life in dark unseen, Waits for warmth and to careen. Buds on branches show, Patience starts to grow, Trickles, streams and veins flow, Bringing fruits of melted snow. Sprung to life it springs, Bees, birds, sound rings, Lush green flings, Its gift bounty brings. Green growth gives one last rush, Underneath the Painter's brush. The mad Artist wields His brush, before the quiet autumn hush. More poetry is available from James M. Hahn in  The Last Dragon and Other Poems  available now. Catherine Video

I just figured out how to do this. I hope it isn't too much for those of you without DSL. This video was taken about a half hour after her birth.

Dear Nicole and Jim, your baby girl is so tiny and delicate, so beautiful! I keep watching her hand gently open and close like a small flower. Catherine was united to Jesus on the Cross since the moment she was born. I am convinced that you can offer to our Lord on her behalf every one of those bandages, the sting of the I.V., the strong lights above her, the hose in her mouth and nose... Every minute detail about her is immensely precious to the eyes of the Father; we cannot imagine how many wonderful things God will do through Catherine and her loving parents. Nothing gets lost, not the smallest of your worries, your weariness, the discomfort of being away from home, ...those trousers you needed but forgot at home! I wish you all can feel, more than ever, that you are submerged in God's Love.

She is beautiful.

I'd like to make a comment about how great she'll look in pink, but really, she will look good in ANY color.

God must really love you, Jim and Nicole.

He must really, really love you.

We're all still prayin!
