Coming Soon: A New Book

If you enjoyed the poem I wrote last September, Did Jesus Have a Puppy ?, you will delight in the book version that has been beautifully illustrated by the daughter of a close friend.  The book will be released soon but I wanted to share what we have thus far. The illustrations are complete and the cover is nearly finished. I'm still working on finishing up the interior and adding a few surprises just for fun. If you'd like to know when the book is live and available for purchase, email me and I'll let you know the day before. Thanks as always for reading and a huge thank you to Karah B. (14 yrs old) for creating such wonderful, warm, spiritually uplifting illustrations to accompany the words. Did you enjoy this post? Never miss a blog post from James M. Hahn by following now.   My new book of cryptogram puzzles " Secret Messages from the Saints " is available now.    Click here to read more from James M. Day 2

Catherine is fast approaching two days old and man is she a fighter! Last night they had to perform an emergency surgery. What the ultrasound showed as duodenal atresia was malrotation (basically her guts were not in her belly in the right place). They had to do the surgery despite her lung problems because of the risk of her intestines dying.

She came through the surgery well but started to decline afterward. We had to sign a consent for a heart & lung bypass machine to be used if needed. This would be a last resort attempt to help her. God in his grace strengthened her and she was doing better this morning.

She certainly isn't safe yet and we fully realize that so we continue to ask for your prayers for healing for Catherine and strength for us.

I can't tell how in love with this little girl we are. #1 (oldest brother for new readers) was so taken by her even with all her tubes and stuff. He just stared and smiled. God Bless you all!

I'm praying, together with my husband & 3 children, and asking for prayers on my italian blog. A friend of mine read the post and phoned me just now, she's going to ask some friends of hers, plus two whole monasteries of nuns, to pray for your little girl.
