The Seasons: A Poem

Sunrise over Amazing Grasses Family Farm The mad Artist wields His brush, Painted colors rush, To life and give flush, Before the quiet autumn hush. The life seems to pour, As colors fall to the floor, To be seen no more, Outside the dark, grey door. Brightness from below, Sun upon the snow, High, cold clouds blow, Flakes and ice appear to grow. The man melts with little seen, Underneath, pale, grey green, Hides life in dark unseen, Waits for warmth and to careen. Buds on branches show, Patience starts to grow, Trickles, streams and veins flow, Bringing fruits of melted snow. Sprung to life it springs, Bees, birds, sound rings, Lush green flings, Its gift bounty brings. Green growth gives one last rush, Underneath the Painter's brush. The mad Artist wields His brush, before the quiet autumn hush. More poetry is available from James M. Hahn in  The Last Dragon and Other Poems  available now. Today's visit

Nicole and her parents went to visit Catherine today. She continues to improve. Nicole was even able to hold her and did so without it bothering Catherine too much. As you can imagine this made mom sooo happy since this was the first time she has held her since last Friday - May 2nd!!

Her color continues to get better. She squirms, tries to open her eyes and all that great stuff. She has lost a lot of weight and we are happy for that since she had taken on so much fluid. She was born at 4lbs 7oz and ballooned up to 7+ pounds a few days later because of all the liquid.

What a cutie!

Oh Nicole, happy Mother's Day (two days late!), and what a glorious feeling it must have been to feel her small weight in your arms at last.

God bless you and may Mother Mary hold YOU as you continue through this trying time.
She is so sweet and precious. You all continue to be in my prayers.
Oh, she's beautiful. Prayers continue for you all.
