A Temple of the Holy Spirit

Daniel & Catherine ready for Confirmation I had the privilege of witnessing my son and daughter receive the Sacrament of Confirmation this past Tuesday at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Annunciation in Lancaster, OH. It was a wonderful Mass with a full choir, trumpets, and all the rest. During his remarks, Bishop Earl K. Fernandes mentioned that we too, like the Basilica, are temples of the Lord. It caused me to reflect on this idea. Although I've mostly seen only pictures of the great cathedrals and basilicas in the world, I have seen some amazing churches even in our own diocese. Catherine Update July 29

Wow, your prayers worked overtime last night!

Catherine's IV failed overnight which turned out to be a good thing. They bumped her up to full feeds and she is tolerating them very well. Therefore, there is no talk of a PICC line for now. Thank the Lord! I hate those things.

After looking at her again today it was determined that there isn't an obstruction as previously thought. They believe it is slow motility again that is causing the back-up and vomiting. They will continue to suction this out and wait for it to clear up. So, we'll be waiting, watching, and praying that she continues to heal in this way.

Thanks for the prayers! God Bless you all!
