A Temple of the Holy Spirit

Daniel & Catherine ready for Confirmation I had the privilege of witnessing my son and daughter receive the Sacrament of Confirmation this past Tuesday at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Annunciation in Lancaster, OH. It was a wonderful Mass with a full choir, trumpets, and all the rest. During his remarks, Bishop Earl K. Fernandes mentioned that we too, like the Basilica, are temples of the Lord. It caused me to reflect on this idea. Although I've mostly seen only pictures of the great cathedrals and basilicas in the world, I have seen some amazing churches even in our own diocese. These structures are a testament to the Church's love for God (read the entire Church - Militant, Suffering, Triumphant). They represent great skill, sacrifice, and passion for Our Lord and often times His Mother.  Yet the words of Christ always echo in my mind when contemplating the beauty that surrounds me in those places; “ Do you see these great buildings? July 4th Photo Display

Here are the photos from our 4th of July. My parents watched the boys while Nicole and I visited the little princess. She is doing well, making slow progress. She weighs about 6lbs 2 oz now which is a far cry from 4lbs 7oz - nine weeks ago today. It seems like she has been in the hospital forever yet at the same time it feels like she was just born yesterday. Anyway, enjoy....

Proud Mom Hahn.

Momma, Dad, and Catherine. She sleeps a lot as you can see.

A lot....

All the time...

...with an occasional smile in her sleep....

....except when her handsome father has her attention. I was talking to her about dating and such

After we returned from the hospital we had pizza at Grandma and Grandpa's house. #4 was tired and in rare form....

....how can I ever get angry with those eyes.....

....I ask you again.....don't they just melt your heart....

Mom and #4

Uncle Dustin

Me and my mother (I'll get a phone call when she sees this on the blog - haha!)

Yours truly sporting the shaved-head look for summer. Oh heck, who am I kidding. Most of it was gone anyhow so why not shave it all off......

Thanks Steven!
Great shaved head! If it's good enough for the NBA, it's good enough for everyone.
