A Temple of the Holy Spirit

Daniel & Catherine ready for Confirmation I had the privilege of witnessing my son and daughter receive the Sacrament of Confirmation this past Tuesday at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Annunciation in Lancaster, OH. It was a wonderful Mass with a full choir, trumpets, and all the rest. During his remarks, Bishop Earl K. Fernandes mentioned that we too, like the Basilica, are temples of the Lord. It caused me to reflect on this idea. Although I've mostly seen only pictures of the great cathedrals and basilicas in the world, I have seen some amazing churches even in our own diocese. These structures are a testament to the Church's love for God (read the entire Church - Militant, Suffering, Triumphant). Update on Catherine

Catherine continues to do very well! She now weighs 3060 grams which is just 2 grams shy of 6# 12 oz! It has been over a week since she has lost any weight and her average gain for the past 7 days is 21 grams a day. Her feeds are now going in over 90 minutes instead of 2 hours. She had a few small spitting up episodes last night, but none today and she took a whole bottle this evening and kept it down. She is able to breastfeed twice a day and she does great. We are very optimistic and so are her doctors. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we pray for all of you!
