The Seasons: A Poem

Sunrise over Amazing Grasses Family Farm The mad Artist wields His brush, Painted colors rush, To life and give flush, Before the quiet autumn hush. The life seems to pour, As colors fall to the floor, To be seen no more, Outside the dark, grey door. Brightness from below, Sun upon the snow, High, cold clouds blow, Flakes and ice appear to grow. The man melts with little seen, Underneath, pale, grey green, Hides life in dark unseen, Waits for warmth and to careen. Buds on branches show, Patience starts to grow, Trickles, streams and veins flow, Bringing fruits of melted snow. Sprung to life it springs, Bees, birds, sound rings, Lush green flings, Its gift bounty brings. Green growth gives one last rush, Underneath the Painter's brush. The mad Artist wields His brush, before the quiet autumn hush. More poetry is available from James M. Hahn in  The Last Dragon and Other Poems  available now. Real Life Rosary Books & Gifts

I just wanted to let everyone know that we have decided to re-open the bookstore. We had mainly wanted to close it out of concern for family. We were unsure what the future held with Catherine and what sort of care she might require. Now that things are established and settled down (yeah right, with 5 kids) we have decided to open back up and begin the traveling store again as well.

We will now be open on Friday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. We are also more than happy to have you out at another time that is convenient for you. Just give us a call to arrange a visit 740-603-4962

Our traveling store will be visiting parishes in the diocese. If you would like us to come to your parish or school please give us a call. Below are the dates and places for our traveling store.

December 6/7 - Saint Peter's Church in Chillicothe
December 21 - Saint Mary's Church in Waverly

Since it is almost Advent I thought I would share a wreath that we designed last year that was very popular.
The green wreath surrounds three purple and one pink glass with candle inserts. This design keeps the melted wax off of the table and wreath and out of the kids noses (yes, it did happen to us). It also reduces the fire hazard. Depending on use, these candle inserts can last for two, three, or even four years and are easily replaced.

We sell this wreath for $24.95

This year we will also be carrying the awesome Mystic Monk Coffee. If you are a coffee lover, you will definitely love this coffee.

While I'm plugging away, I'll also mention that we will still have cord knot rosary making classes on Saturday morning. Come have a cup of Mystic Monk and learn to make a beautiful cord rosary.
